Titahi Bay School Entrance. With a tight window of the 2 week school holidays this project would prove to be a squeeze! The existing front entranceway was a mere 0.5 metre wide steep old path that ferried hundreds of tāmariki and their whānau through everyday. Being as old as a lot of the bay itself it was well ready for a re-vamp.

Following some quick thinking discussions with school staff we hatched a plan to create a splayed entrance that would alleviate the issue of people piling up at the crossing and reduce congestion for the all important 10 minutes after the school bell.
