Titahi Bay School
Titahi Bay School Entrance. With a tight window of the 2 week school holidays this project would prove to be a squeeze! The existing front entranceway was a mere 0.5 metre wide steep old path that ferried hundreds of tāmariki and their whānau through everyday. Being as old as a lot of the bay itself it was well ready for a re-vamp.
Following some quick thinking discussions with school staff we hatched a plan to create a splayed entrance that would alleviate the issue of people piling up at the crossing and reduce congestion for the all important 10 minutes after the school bell. Hand painted full gloss railings pop the schools vibrant colours so you cant miss it. This job is a great example of what the team at Nice Pozi can achieve in 2 weeks. Although we may still need to take a holiday after this..
