Titahi Bay Playcentre

An outstanding interactive play space delivered for the tamariki and whānau of Titahi Bay. A lot of love went into this build, a few examples include a 100y/o reclaimed tōtara log channel salvaged from a historic Wairarapa sheep station. This was fabricated into a custom water-play feature fed by a one-of-a-kind in-situ concrete sculpted water fountain coined “the wiggle”! Local carvers produced ‘Rongomātāne’ God of peace and cultivated foods – Looking over the centres fruit trees and vegetable gardens. With a selection of beautiful hardwood features and native coastal plantings the playground is finished largely with wet pour rubber surfacing on a compliant shock-pad layer all installed in-house.
