Ridgway School

A contemporary adventure playground for a school on the rise. The project is nestled into the native bush bank between the school and the local treasure Vogelmorn park. Children can race from top to bottom in the twin slides. With multiple options to clamber up the bank they can take the zigzag natural stair stack or choose the fun way up the log climb. The upper area consists of native geometric gardens and pathways that send you out to a series of treetop forts linked by custom timber tunnels. If you can find it, the tallest fort sits 6.0m off the ground and has views across to the South Island and Mount Tapuae-O-Ueneku.
