This site is tucked in the hills of Highbury, over looking Zealandia.
Perched on a small cutting in the bank among the ponga trees we positioned a hardwood deck for the soon awaited pool. A thin batten balustrade makes a perfect cup of tea rest on the private viewing platform showcasing the beautiful native bush. A set of luxury doc style stairs constructed using macrocarpa sleepers and crushed local greywacke infill, with an accompanying handrail lead you up from the lawn below.
A set of terraced planters define the bank and provide structure with a set of simple box stairs for access to the lower garden. Frequented regularly by the local Kaka and Kereru this is a truly magical spot and the perfect escape right outside the backdoor.
