Cal Rattenbury - Director
Cal started Nice Pozi Landscapes in 2018 after leaving the civil construction industry. He has an impressive grounding in managing multi-million dollar construction projects for the likes of NZTA, Local Airports and Local Councils as well as some offshore island projects. He has a highly personable approach to job management and realises the importance that interaction and communication between all people involved in any project have in influencing a strong delivery.
Taking informal art to a new level with his paintings and with his unique dialogue of kiwi jargon Cal’s inspiration and passion for creating has been suppressed too long in management roles. And now, Nice Pozi is the waka that unleashes his vibrant inspiration which is flourishing in the form of inspiring and exceptional landscapes.
Qualifications: NZDE (Civil), National Cert in Frontline Management, currently working towards National Cert in Carpentry.
Landscaping Forte: 8 Years Project Management. Building & Construction experience. Identifying site practicalities & parameters. Industry knowledge and trade connections. An eye for conceptual landscape composition.

Henry Velvin - Designer + Construction Supervisor
Henry has more multi faceted traits than the most comprehensive swiss army knife known, the only difference being the edge is more Japanese in design. His grounding in architecture hone his eye for precision and his practical construction experience contribute to a Team leader with very strong qualities. He continues to lift the game at Nice Pozi day by day and is an inherent team member.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Masters of Architecture (Professional)
Landscaping Forte: x4 Years experience in both residential and commercial landscape design and construction.
Onsite management: Eye for detail, High quality execution.

Fred Double - Leading Hand
Fred is an undisclosed horticultural wizard and he speaks better Latin than he does the local dialect. We liken his work ethic to that of a solid granite boulder - you can be sure his delivery is consistent all the way through. He has admirable sustainability values that are just the way he operates - a true core member of the Pozi team.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Ecology & Biodiversity

Jono Clarke - Team Leader
Jono is an inspiring leader who has the ability to turn a bewildered bunch of delinquents into a functional team of conquerors. When paired with a capable team the result is unsurpassable. He comes with a list of competencies so long, there's no need to go past saying it is amazingly broad and extensive. His refreshingly philosophical views ensure every decision process is robust and the best outcome is achieved. Jono is the epitome of charisma.
Qualifications: IRANZ L4 (rope access). Land explosive use, Avalanche 1. NZOIA L1 Rock climbing instructor.

Arthur Double - Team Member
Arthur has a great smile and a moustache in progress. His blooming proficiency in task detail and procedure make him a key influencer in making sure things are done the right way. His groundings on and off the tools make for a well-rounded Pozi team member.
Qualifications: NCEA L3, Studying Diploma in Quantity Surveying.

Conor O'Brien - Team Member
Conor is our pig island influence. With better civility and intent than the Queen herself, he takes the Pozi Prestige to new heights. Assuming no regrets around his favourite tool he is a key contributor to making things happen onsite.

Lawrence Webster - Team Member
Lawrence brims positive vibes like no other and has an incredible ability to squeeze enjoyment and satisfaction out of any task. He brings an open mind and clear recognition of what is in front of him contributing to a tenacious professional in the making. His versatility and dexterity on the worksite make for a strong slogger of the Pozi mahi.
